Christingle Workshop

School council ran a fantastic Christingle Workshop at lunchtime today. Children paid £1 which goes to the Children’s society and then made their own Christingle to take home. They also took a book mark to remind them of what each part of the Christingle represents. Thank you School Council!

Spending Time in the Community

Lent Call Service

A HUGE thank you goes to the community of our school for raising £971 during Lent Call. Your generosity and enthusiasm has been astounding. Today the School Council were able to deliver the money to the Bishop during a service of thanksgiving at Southwark Cathedral.

Easter Week Service

This morning the whole school attended an Easter Week Service at St Margaret’s Lee Church. They learnt all about the Palm Procession, The Last Supper, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. A special thank you to RE School Council for delivering a sketch and the prayers.

Keep on running…

The inaugural SML park run was a runaway success! As part of our Sport Relief week, children from Reception to Year 6 clocked up laps of Manor House Gardens, showing great enthusiasm and determination! There were some tired legs at the end but lots of beaming smiles – well done everyone!
