Year 2 Jewish Food Tasting

This afternoon Year 2 tasted some traditional Jewish foods as part of their RE learning. They thought about what they could represent and then learnt about their meanings. On the tasting menu was matzah, fig chutney, grape juice, pickles and karpas.

Weather Vanes in Year 2

As part of their Geography topic “Weather”, Year 2 have been preparing their own weather stations. First they learnt about the compass points and then they created their own weather vanes. Look out for them observing the direction of the wind!

Christingle Workshop

School council ran a fantastic Christingle Workshop at lunchtime today. Children paid £1 which goes to the Children’s society and then made their own Christingle to take home. They also took a book mark to remind them of what each part of the Christingle represents. Thank you School Council!
