PE in Year 1

This half term we have been preparing for sports day. Today I had a lot of fun teaching PE, I certainly hope the children had as much fun as I did!

This is a game called chain relay, we had a lot of fun playing it! We had a long chat about how to do so safely!
We named this, Rock Paper Scissors GO. The winner of the game becomes the tagger and chases their friend to the fence.
This game is called Head Shoulders Knees CONE. The children run on the spot and follow the instructions, touching their head knees etc, then grab the cone before their partner when the word cone is shouted.
