This week in art, year 3 and 4 looked at the artist Gerhard Richter. Richter creates abstract paintings. We were inspired by his ’Cage Paintings’ in todays art lesson.
We layered acrylic paints and then dragged art straws horizontally, vertically and diagonally across our paintings to create the texture and design.
The art we created was incredible! Well done year 3 and 4.
