Year 2 started their new art topic on printmaking this afternoon. We experimented with everyday objects, varying the amount of pressure we applied, to make interesting shapes and patterns.
Once we’d got the hang of printing in this way we added more colour and used a technique called over-printing to create layers in our art work. The end result was brilliant and we all really enjoyed getting creative (and a little messy!).
