Year 5 have been modelling our writing on the portal story The Time Slip Scarab (ask them to tell it to you with the actions) to create our own stories of transportation. We’ve had characters going back in time to 70s music festivals, characters being zapped into space and characters being sucked into books. Each and every story was fantastic and below are two examples of the imaginative work which was achieved in our Hot Task.
