Continuing our exploration of living things and their habitats, today Year 2 considered what we all need to survive. We then researched a variety of invertebrates, drew labelled diagrams and wrote about how they survive in their natural habitat.
At the end of our lesson we met the newest member of year 2, a queen ant and her growing brood. We’ve named her Queen Amelia and she will soon move onto her ant habitat with her workers.
