LKS2 finished off their work on Light by investigating whether you can change the size of a shadow.
We had fun deciding whether images of shadows were real or fake, by using our knowledge of how shadows are formed. We then watched a brilliant hand shadow performance, which you can watch here and discussed what we thought the artist did to change the size of the shadows.
We performed our own investigation, ensuring that it was a fair test and that we recorded data accurately and consistently. This allowed us to be able to draw conclusions about the distance between and object and a light source, and the size of the resulting shadow.
