Harvest Festival

Parents & Carers of St Margaret’s Lee,

Harvest is an important time in the Christian calendar when we give thanks for the food we have and share with those who need it most.

Over the years, the children and community of St Margaret’s have donated an amazing amount of food and groceries to local food banks but this year we need you more than ever!

What should I bring in?

Tinned fruit, long life milk, toilet rolls, shower gel, tinned fruit, tinned vegetables, pasta/curry sauces, dried pasta, rice, nappies, baby wipes, sanitary towels, soap bars, deodorant (roll on), tinned meat (no pork).

Where should I put it?

We want children to put the items in a box in the hall.

When do you need this done by?

Friday 9th October

Due to the current restrictions, we can’t go to the church and get the food blessed and will ensure that all items are stored for 72 hours to ensure a safe delivery to the Lewisham Food Bank.

Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated 🙂

Kind regards

St Margaret’s School Council
