Bonjour, tout le monde!
Everyone can still be enjoying their French learning at home, with these resources for singing, activities and games.
BODY PARTS
It’s our favourite with a link to the song. Heads, shoulders, knees and toes . The robot’s pointer isn’t that easy to see so just to remind you:
l’oeil = eye, les yeux = eyes, les oreilles = ears, la bouche = mouth and le nez = nose
ACTIVITIES
Singing the song, complete with actions.
Playing Simon Says, which is called Jacques a dit in French (pronounced Jack – a (as in hat) – dee) The person playing Jacques can tell you to touch parts of the body from the song by saying ‘Touchez’ (pronounced ‘too-shay’) plus the body part e.g. touchez le nez for ‘touch your nose’. Listen carefully – if they don’t say ‘Jacques a dit’, don’t do it!
Bingo. Draw yourself an outline of a body and use the video from the song to label 3/4 parts of it. Someone then calls out different body parts and the first person to cross off all of theirs wins!
Bonne chance!
I hate not doing French and when you posted it I was soo happy thank you Isla
Hi Isla! I’m so pleased you’re enjoying French, there’s more to come! Mrs Peters 🙂
