Year 3 aren’t going to let the weather get in the way of a Science investigation. With coats on and iPads in hand, we headed out to the Wildlife Area in order to have a close-up look at soil. We have established that the 4 components of soil are: air, water, organic matter and rocks. We worked with the focus and zoom functions on the iPads to take close-up photos of different areas of soil and then drew labelled, scientific pictures of what we saw.
