Before Christmas, Y6 pupils wrote letters to various companies and the government to ask what they are doing to tackle the problem of plastic pollution. Over the past few weeks, the replies have been coming in. (Aldi, Waitrose, M&S, Tesco, Cadbury’s)
It’s really good for the children to see their questions addressed and it’s also good to see that businesses and government are trying to tackle the problem as well as suggest what we can do to help.
The children were particularly pleased to get a detailed response from the department for environment, food and rural affairs!
