Our learning question in RE this term has had us thinking about why we celebrate Christmas and what it means to us. Does it mean the same to everyone or are we celebrating different things at this very special time of year?
We looked at items associated with Christmas and thought about why and how they were used and whether they might have a particular significance for Christians.
As ever, the children have come up with some very thoughtful and reflective contributions and have made baubles depicting what Christmas means to them which have gone on our class tree.
Love, time with friends and family, the birth of Jesus and, unsurprisingly, presents featured highly on our lists. It’s going to be such a joy celebrating Christmas with this brilliant class!
