After getting their heads around the slightly confusing vocabulary, Year 5 threw themselves enthusiastically into this afternoon’s experiment answering the question ‘Which substances dissolve in water?’ The children tested glitter, coffee, yeast and even spices and drew conclusions from their observations. They then attempted to get the substances back using filter paper.
