We were lucky enough to welcome back John McCorkell to St. Margaret’s on Monday, in order for the children and staff to take part in Disability Awareness workshops.
John led a whole-school assembly in the morning and throughout the day, children took part in age-appropriate activities and discussions designed to increase their awareness of and sensitivity to those who have disabilities – both seen and unseen.
As ever, the children spoke and questioned with interest and compassion and had lots of fun as well!
